Red Dog Poker

Red Dog Poker
Red Dog poker is a unique variation of poker that can be found at most good quality online casino websites. If you are a fan of online poker and online casino games in general then you'll want to check this game out for sure.

Red Dog Poker is a very unique game that is built around the concept of spread - the "distance" of values between two cards. Jack is counted for 11, Queen for 12, King for 13 and Ace for 14. Spread is the distance between two cards, that is the amount of cards that lay between them: for example, distance between 7 and 9 is 1 and distance between 8 and King is 4.

Red Dog Poker has only one type of bet. You bet before the game starts. The payouts that you are eligible for vary from game to game and are often displayed on Red Dog Poker table itself. The rules of the game are very simple: Two cards are drawn. The game is measured by the spread of those two cards. For this reason drawing two consecutive cards (like 7 and 8) makes a push and your wager is returned to you.

If the drawn cards are equal a third card is drawn. If the third card is equal to first two you will immediately win 11 to 1. Otherwise the game is a push. If the drawn cards are not consecutive, you should now calculate the spread and either raise or call. Raising is doubling your bet and calling is simply proceeding. The third card is now drawn. If the card fits the spread (its is one of the cards between the first two) you win and your payout will be calculated from the payout table. You lose if the card matches one of the first two cards or doesn't fit the spread.

As you see, the game doesn't have any complicated elements and can be easily learned by anyone.
