Double Down Stud

Double Down Stud
Like 5 card stud and 7 card stud there is also another great poker variation called Double Down Stud. If you enjoy online poker and are interested in checking out some of the many variations of poker that exist online then we suggest you try out a game of double down. You are sure to find it at any quality online casino that features great poker games on the net.

In Double Down Stud Poker the player is dealt five cards, four of which are face-up. The player may double the bet before the fifth card is turned over. If the player has a pair of Jacks or higher, the player is paid according to the amount bet and the payout odds for the hand. If the player has a pair of sixes through a pair of tens, it is a 'push' and the bet is returned. Otherwise, the player looses. You may freely choose an initial bankroll and acquire additional chips as required.

Double down stud is another poker based table game. It is a lot like let it ride but goes directly to four cards and has a slightly more generous pay table. If played properly the element of risk is between 2% and 3% which is normal for new games.

Players make an initial wager. The dealer gives each player one card face up and deals four community cards, three up and one down. Each hand is dealt from a freshly shuffled single deck. Each player has the option to double their bet or not. The dealer turns over the down card. Winning hands pay according to the following payoff table.
